INDCO's PhGM-series Tri-Clamp® Mount Mixers with external mechanical seals are the solution to your most stringent sanitary low-viscosity mixing applications where mixer portability is important.  Designed for the pharmaceutical, food and cosmetics industries, this variable speed mixer plugs conveniently into a standard 120 volt outlet.  The autoclavable design features quick-release removal of the gearmoter from the mixer mount via 3" tri-clamp® connection.  The model PhGM-005T3 features a 1/4 HP Baldor gearmotor and Leeson Washguard NEMA 4X control with output speed from 0-250 RPM.  This unit is configured for tank sizes of approximately 100 liters. The external dry-running mechanical seal is rated full vacuum to 200 psi and features EPDM USP Class VI elastomers.  The 3/4" diameter shaft is 28" long with one welded and polished 7", 3-blade marine style propeller.  The seal housing, mounting flange and wetted parts are constructed of 316 stainless steel with a #4 buffed mirror finish.  Surface finishes as fine as 15Ra are available.  Documentation packages including drawings, parts lists, material certifications and certificates of conformance are provided.  Customizations can include alternate seal designs, electropolished wetted parts and multiple impeller options.  Impellers can be provided with set screws if preferred.   Please contact our engineers for assistance with your application or for a quote on available options.
