The INDCO STL-series mixer is designed for mixing liquid products in stainless steel intermediate bulk containers (IBC’s), or “totes”. Inspired by the many unique mixers created for our customers for this purpose, STL mixers can be configured to process liquids with a wide range of properties and meet many operational requirements. The STL-400A is our 4 HP air model and is 10:1 gear reduced. The 4 HP air motor is our largest in this product line and provides maximum agitation when supplied with 100 psi @ 130 cfm. See our air motor performance guide for operation at lower air flow. The model includes a stainless steel lid with locking ring, gasket and lifting eye. The 1-1/2" x 30" long mixing shaft attaches to the motor coupler & (2) 16" diameter 4-bladed axial impellers with set screws. All wetted parts are constructed of 316 stainless steel for chemical resistance. A PTFE lip seal is included. Standard models are configured for 350-gallon totes although customizations can be made for other tote sizes by quote. Impellers, seals and finish options are available to suit food and other sanitary industry requirements.
